Don’t Feed the Spammers

14 10 2009

Recently I received an email from a member of the email newsletter with information I feel important for everyone to know.

When sending email to multiple recipients enter the addresses in the Bcc: field rather than the To: field.  Bcc stands for Blind carbon copy.

This keeps the addresses private and prevents spammers and others with less than honorable intentions from accessing the addresses.  Unfortunately people forward emails without removing old header information thus giving everyone who sees the email access to all the previous addresses.

By using the Bcc: field you help keep everyone’s email addresses safer!

The Photographer’s Right

24 06 2009

Have you ever wondered if you had photographed something illegally?  Do you have some amazing images and wonder if you can legally sell them?

Attorney at Law Bert P. Krages II has written a whitepaper that answers these questions and more.  You can find this whitepaper titled The Photographer’s Right on his webpage at http://www.krages.com/phoright.htm.

If you would like more information on the topic of photography law in the United States, Mr. Krages has written a book titled Legal Handbook for Photographers-The Rights and Liabilities of Making Images which is available from Amazon.com.  More information on this book can be found at http://www.krages.com/lhp.htm.
